Wonder Woman Sequel Release Date Majorly Pushed Back

It appears that the Wonder Woman 1984 movie has been pushed back quite majorly by Warner Bros.

The sequel was supposed to have its theatrical release on the 1st of November, 2019, however this release date has been pushed back to June 5th, 2020.
 
Entertainment Weekly shared a statement by Warner Bros, explaining the reason behind the push-back. Here’s what they shared:

“We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the summer,” Warner Bros. explains. “So when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did.”

So even though we won’t see the movie for another while, the reason is quite exciting!
