Watch Green Day Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s Awesome NYE Performance

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong rang in the new year in  New York club Berlin where he took the stage to perform an awesome cover of The Replacements. Billie Joe Armstrong was in good company when he performed the track with the pick-up band filled with rockstars.

​The musicians accompanying Armstrong were the Replacements’ Tommy Stinson, the Hold Steady’s Tad Kubler, Blondie’s Clem Burke, the E Street Band’s Steven Van Zandt, Jesse Malin and reportedly even Billie Joe Armstrong’s sons who are also starting their own musical journeys with their own bands.
