Travis Barker Unable To Perform Until July
Now as it turns out, the situation is more serious than previously anticipated as the blood clots in Barker’s arms will keep him from playing until early July at least.
The drummer shared a doctor’s note via his Instagram story which reads:
“Travis Barker has developed thrombophlebitis in his bilateral upper extermities as well as cellulitis.”
“Treated appropriately with antibiotics and anti-coagulants, his condition should improve over the next few weekd. If untreated or exacerbated, this condition could result in severe adverse effects. Dure to the strenuous nature of Mr. Barker’s performances, I have advised him to temporarily discontinue all performing through July 1, 2018. At that time, he will be re-evaluated by his physicians to see if he can resume performing.”
We sure hope for the best and wish Travis a speedy recovery.
