Travis Barker Opens Up About Recent Car Accident

Blink-182’s Travis Barker has been in a car accident recently.

Up to this point, that was pretty much all we knew, until he opened up about it himself in an interview with E! News.

​He was in the car with his son when a school bus (not carrying any students at the time) crashed into the car after driving past a red light. Both of them are okay.

The drummer explains:

“I was in a really bad car accident but I came out unscathed, which is pretty awesome. My car is totaled but I pretty much walked away OK, which is awesome.”

“A school bus ran a red light. It was insane. […] I have a really big 4×4 G-Wagon and if I wasn’t in that, it might have been different but it held up pretty well.”

Barker also briefly addressed the accident on Twitter, joking about how after this and his previous injuries, he almost feels “unbreakable” and as if he was in a movie.

We are very glad that everyone involved is okay and hope that this was the end of the bad luck streak Travis Barker seems to be having.
