It’s 2018 and we are currently in the era of pop-punk. Many bands are growing, and especially in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, pop-punk is reaching heights we haven’t seen since Blink-182, Sum 41, New Found Glory & others conquered the world in.. 2000-something. (We’re getting old).

While we enjoy ourselves some Neck Deep, State Champs, ROAM etcera, we enjoy looking for new pop-punk talents on the playground just as much, if not even more.

We’re happy to say, we found a new pop-punk EP from an amazing artist which we think you’re going to love! The artist in question is Ruben Hultman, a singer-songwriter from Sweden, who recently released his latest EP “HAPPY FACE” and it would be an understatement to say it’s great. He doesn’t have a band around him, everything you hear has been written and played by Ruben himself, you know, like Brendon Urie (Panic! At The Disco) and Caleb Shomo (Beartooth). This EP, consisting of 4 tracks, is upbeat, lyrically very strong and takes ‘catchy’ to a whole new level.

We suggest you give the EP a spin or two via Spotify below and stop sleeping on this artist who is bound to go places. If you become a fan now, in a few years YOU can be the cool kid who was there first, and isn’t that the dream.
