The New Ryan Murphy LGBTQ Series “Pose” Is Out And People Are Loving It

Ryan Murphy has brought a badass new series to FX and people are loving it!

The new series Murphy, director of shows such as  “Glee” and “American Horror Story”, is working on is called “Pose” and is set in New York City during the 80’s, with a large focus on members of the LGBTQ community.

As it turns out, the show has already broken its first record by casting five transgender actresses (all women of colour) as main characters, which has never happened before in scripted TV. Plus, more than 100 trans actors and crew members have been employed as well.

According to Ryan Murphy, all the profits of the show will be donated to trans and LGBTQ+ charity organisations, as reported by Variety

Since the show’s premiere, a lot of people have expressed their opinion about the show online, one of them being actress Laverne Cox.
