A long and anticipated wait for an announcement from Reading & Leeds Festival in the UK has finally come to an end, with the event releasing the names of the first wave of acts for the August Bank Holiday weekend event.

Rage Against The Machine and Stormzy have been revealed as the final headliners, alongside already announced Liam Gallagher. Over 90 names have also been announced for what is expected to be the ultimate festival weekend of the summer.
Some exciting features on the announcement include As It Is, All Time Low, The Maine and BLOXX, who will all play across the main stages on the weekend. Meanwhile, the BBC Radio 1 Stage will see the likes of Rex Orange County, Waterparks, The Hunna, IDLES and Sam Fender.

The Pit stage will require sheer stamina as it promised complete chaos with the mighty Fever 333, Sleeping with Sirens and Gallows headlining. Also adding to the commotion is Creeper, Holding Absence, Dune Rats, Cancer Bats and Black Peaks.

Hundreds of acts are set to play Reading & Leeds this year – a defining weekend that celebrates the sounds of ground-breaking music, as well as a world-class comedy line-up.
