You might know The Faim from the Lower Than Atlantis shows in the UK last month, which they supported, or from this year’s line-up for Slam Dunk Festival.

If you don’t, the fact that they were discovered by John Feldmann and have written music with Josh Dun, Pete Wentz and Mark Hoppus might convince you to change that.

While Pete Wentz collaborated with the band on their debut single “Saint of the Sinners”, Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun has co-written two songs for their upcoming album, one of which also includes Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus.

In a recent interview with Rocksound, the band from Australia has given an insight as to what it was like to work with these musicians, considering they are some of the bigger names in the scene, and went to describe Mark Hoppus as “really authentic” and Josh Dun as “incredible”.

Their guitarist Michael Bono has also shared an anecdote about their work with Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz:

“He’s a very chilled out dude. He came in, and we all just sat down for a few hours and talked about the music industry, and how there’s always gonna be someone else working on music so you’ve got to be working on music and always putting in 100% at all times, no matter how successful you are.”

Aside from these collaborations, they also discussed their upcoming album, giving their festival debut at Slam Dunk next month and more.
