Soundcloud Gets Funding To Stay Above Water

It seemed like Soundcloud was in a lot of trouble lately, as the streaming service announced just a couple weeks ago that they had only enough funding left to stay afloat for a while. But the tides have turned now, as the company have announced that they will not only get a new CEO, but also, and even more importantly, $169,5 million in funding.

Soundcloud is “the largest open audio platform in the world,” according to new CEO Kerry Trainor, and now it’s back on course to an independent and fruitful future.
