Papa Roach Confirm New Album Is On The Way
Papa Roach recently confirmed that they not only have a new album on the way, but they already have songs written and recorded.
After lots of teasing and speculation, frontman Jacoby Shaddix confirmed new music.
The band hinted at a new album earlier in June, posting a photo of a whiteboard “to-do” list on social media. The list led fans to believe that Papa Roach had already completed pre-production and drums for the record.
Shaddix reportedly told Morning Moose, “We have 13 or 14 songs written and recorded, and we feel we have a lot of really great material.”
Writing supposedly began after the 2017 release of “Crooked Teeth”, and Papa Roach went into the studio when their tour with Of Mice & Men last year was cancelled.
Shaddix explained that the band is adopting a new sound and challenging their fans. He explained, “And the material we’re writing we just feel is just great. It’s so inspiring and just unique and different and rocking and anthemic and passionate. It’s undeniable.”
Shaddix goes on to further discuss the evolution and style of Papa Roach in the interview.
