New Actors Have Been Cast For Gerard Way’s Netflix Show “Umbrella Academy”

As if the idea of a Netflix show around Gerard Way’s comic series “Umbrella Academy” wasn’t exciting enough, there’s even more good news as a bunch of actors have been added to the cast!

As we have found out recently, one of the lead roles, a character called Vanya, will be played by no other than Ellen Page.

Now according to Deadline, it has been revealed that Tom Hopper (Merlin, Game Of Thrones), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Hamilton), David Castañeda, Robert Sheehan (The Mortal Instruments) and Aidan Gallagher (Modern Family) will be part of the cast as well!

As the show revolves around Vanya and her family, they will be playing her fellow family members Luther (Hopper), Diego (Castañeda), Allison (Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Sheehan) and Number Five (Gallagher).

The show is going to be produced by Steve Blackman, co-produced by Gerard Way and is set to have a pilot script written by Jeremy Slater.
