Netflix Tests Out New ‘Ultra’ Subscription Plan
As reported by Polygon, the streaming service is currently in the process of testing a so called “ultra” subscription tier, which is currently only available for some European users.
This new option offered alongside the already existing basic, standard and premium plans allows users to watch their films and TV shows on no less than four screens at once, which includes two more screens than currently allowed as part of the premium offer.
Of course with new features, there also comes an increase in the monthly subscription fee. According to Tutto Android, this new “ultra” subscription be €16.99 per month which roughly translates to around $20.
However, the new plan is not final yet, as the company is “testing slightly different price points and features to better understand how consumers value Netflix”, as explained by a spokesperson to CNet.
What do you think about this possible new tier? A long-needed addition? An option worth considering? Completely useless? Feel free to let us know!
