Netflix & Dreamworks Are Working On An Animated “Fast & Furious” Series

Great news for Fast & Furious fans. Netflix and Dreamworks are developing an animated Fast & Furious series! Margie Cohn, the president of Dreamworks Animation Televsion shared the following regarding the ever-growing expansion between Dreamworks and Netflix:

“We are excited to extent and expand our successful relationship with Netflix by not only delivering more high-quality DreamWorks programming, but connecting fans of Universal films with fascinating new stories. Our new home at Universal marks an exciting new chapter for storytelling at our studio, and Fast & Furious is only the beginning”.

This sounds great, but what is the story going to be about?

The animated series will follow a teenager called Tony Toretto who is recruited by the government to infiltrate an elite racing league, who also serves as a crime organisation.
This crime organisation has its sights set on “world domination”, so you can imagine it’s pretty important that someone comes in to put a stop to it.

No indication was given regarding when the animated series is going to be released, but this is pretty awesome, right?!
