Netflix Discontinues ‘Seven Seconds’ After First Season

Bad news coming your way from Netflix.

Another show that’s taken on quite the audience since it originally aired, has been discontinued, meaning a second season won’t be happening.

The series in question is Seven Seconds, which aired on the streaming giant earlier this year.

The story of the show follows a hit and run of a black teenager, who was hit by a police officer. The crime was covered up.

The show has a 77% rating among critics and a 84% approval rate among viewers, but it wasn’t enough for Netflix to renew the show.

​Seven Seconds is just one of the many shows that have been canceled by Netflix in the last couple of months. Surprisingly, Everything Sucks was also discontinued by Netflix earlier this month.
