Netflix Cancels Two Huge Marvel Shows
Fans are afraid that this will mean the end of “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones” as well as “The Defenders”, since the official Facebook page has been renamed to “NX”.
Netflix released a statement about the cancellation of “Luke Cage”:
“Unfortunately, Marvel’s “Luke Cage” will not return for a third season. Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated show runner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.”
Speculations are that the shows are being cancelled because of Disney launching their own streaming service that will stream all its content, including the Star Wars and Marvel movies.
