Millie Bobby Brown Wins Kids Choice Award, Honours Parkland Shooting Victims In Speech

On March 24th, the major demonstration ‘March For Our Lives’ took place, a protest to raise gun violence awareness and to fight for support of gun control.

The same day, Nickelodeon’s ‘Kids Choice Awards’ took place and one of the show’s winners was Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown, who won the category ‘Favourite TV Actress’.

When she gave her speech, she used it to honour the victims of the Parkland shooting, where 17 people died.
She wore all of their names on her jumpsuit that night and dedicated her award to ‘the angels among us’.
