Congratulations are in order: The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is celebrating its 10 year anniversary!

In order to properly celebrate, Marvel Studios has teamed up with IMAX for a special film festival including all 20 films, including the first 3, “Iron Man”, “The Incredible Hulk” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”, which have never been shown in IMAX before.

The MCU is at its biggest and most popular lately, with the films “Black Panther”, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp” having earned $3.7 billion worldwide.

Marvel president Kevin Feige had the following to say about the film festival:

“We knew we wanted to go big to celebrate 10 years of Marvel Studios, and you can’t get any bigger than Imax. […] This is an incredible celebration for fans. They will be able to see all of Marvel Studios’ films back-to-back and really be immersed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

All the films will be re-released in select movie theaters starting August 30 all the way through September 6. How exciting is that? You can find more details regarding the theaters and times HERE.

Which one is your favourite film out of the MCU? Will you be joining in on the celebrations by giving it another watch? Maybe even make it a movie marathon? Let us know!
