Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks) Responds To Rumours About “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” Reboot

For everyone who has gotten their hopes up because of the rumours about a “The Fresh Prince Of Bell-Air” reboot, sad news..

Actress Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks) has opened up about why this won’t happen during an interview on Lorraine.

She explained that one of the main reasons was the loss of James Avery (Uncle Phil), who sadly passed away back in 2013 at the age of 68 after complications following heart surgery. 

“For us, the loss of James Avery changed the whole picture. I don’t think it would have happened anyway but with James gone, it is not possible.”
