Green Day’s “American Idiot” Among Biggest Albums Of This Millennium
2004 was an awesome year for many reasons, among which the fact that Green Day dropped their album "American Idiot".
Now, the UK chart body has made a list of the biggest albums of the 2000s to date and taking place 31 is Green Day with that record.
When released, the album debuted at number one in the UK chart after selling 89,385 copies in its first week.
Since then, there have been 16 million copies sold worldwide.
