Fortnite Launches For Nintendo Switch & Announces Plans For Massive 2019 Championships

It is nothing but good times ahead for Fortnite: Battle Royale with the launch of the popular game on Nintendo Switch and the massive amount of downloads in the first 24 hours alone.

​Over a span of a couple of months, Fortnite: Battle Royale has become the biggest gaming hype to take over the globe after League of Legends did a couple of years ago.

The popular online game now has over 125 million players all over the world, spread over the platforms PC, PS 4, Xbox and now Nintendo Switch, which recently launched.

Upon launch, Nintendo Switch’s Fortnite has gotten over 2 million downloads in the first 24 hours, which is an immense amount!

To top it all off, Epic Games has also revealed the plans for the 2019 world cup championship. Everyone everywhere can participate and qualify themselves for this championship, with more details on how to qualify following soon.

Epic Games is spending a 100 million dollars alone on prizes for the various Fortnite: Battle Royale tournaments that will be held throughout 2019 all over the world.
