Corey Taylor Gives Update On Upcoming Slipknot Album

It’s been a while since we got to hear some new Slipknot music and fans are waiting (more or less) patiently for an update.

Well, Corey Taylor has just shared one, regarding the progress of the new Slipknot album!

In a recent interview with Billboard, he revealed:

“The guys are writing tons of music and I’ve written lyrics to almost all of it. […] We’re going to start trying to put together demos here and there with the time off that I have and really try to get ahead of the curve as far as what happens next.”

That sounds very promising! So when is all of that going to happen? Is there like a rough plan?

“The plan right now is next year but that is a huge plan because we still haven’t narrowed anything down, so we will definitely see what happens.”
