Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Leaves Stage After Fan Shouts ‘Will Ferrell’ At Him

During a recent performance at the Los Angeles Musicians Institute, Chad Smith ran off stage after being called “Will Ferrell” by a fan.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer has been made aware of his resemblance to the actor quite a while back and not just once since then and when a fan shouted the name of his lookalike at him, Smith responded by yelling “Shut up!” and storming off stage, where he stayed for a while.

After being cheered on by the crowd, he then made his way back on stage and started talking directly to the person who had shouted at him, revealing that he was just joking all along: “Nah I’m just fucking with you. I don’t give a shit, I think it’s great! I’m fucking famous because of Will Ferrell. Fuck that guy, right!”
