Avril Lavigne Joins Billy Idol On His First Album In Over A Decade
Avril Lavigne is adding another legendary collaboration to her résumé, as she is set to feature on Dream Into It, the first studio album from rock icon Billy Idol in over ten years. The record, due for release on April 25th via Dark Horse Records, will also include appearances from Joan Jett and Alison Mosshart (The Kills).
Billy Idol’s Dream Into It comes as part of a larger creative resurgence for the singer, who has been working on a documentary with filmmaker Jonas Akerlund. The album reportedly follows a chronological storytelling format, reflecting on Idol’s journey through music.
Billy Idol will be supporting the album with his It’s A Nice Day To… Tour Again! alongside Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, kicking off April 30th in Phoenix, Arizona.
