Vans Warped Tour Set To Return In 2025 After Six-Year Hiatus
After six long years away, the iconic Vans Warped Tour is making a comeback in 2025. This much-anticipated return marks the festival’s 30th anniversary, with plans for two-day events in three major U.S. cities. For many fans, this is a nostalgic and exciting revival of the beloved traveling festival that shaped pop-punk and alternative music for generations.
The festival had its final nationwide run in 2018. However, in 2019, a limited version was held in two cities to celebrate the tour’s 25th anniversary. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited news of its return, which was finally confirmed last month. Few details were available at first, but the announcement has now been made via the tour’s official Instagram account, confirming the return in 2025.
Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman spoke about the revival, reflecting on the festival’s legacy. “Since 1997, I said I was hoping that there was some kid in a garage that was going to come out and kick Kevin Lyman’s ass someday, and put on a better festival,” he told Rolling Stone. He added that the absence of Warped Tour has made people realize how important and fun it was, and he hopes to capture that same magic in its revival.
Two-day tickets will start at $149.98, including fees, with presales kicking off next Thursday, October 24th, at 12pm ET/9am PT. Keep an eye out for more details on the official Vans Warped Tour website and social media.
