New Supergroup L.S. Dunes Release New Song, Announce Album
L.S. Dunes have finally released their first song and announced the title for their first album.
The band released the song Permanent Rebellion on all streaming platforms and a music video on YouTube.
Ever since L.S. Dunes’ debut show announcement for Riot Fest, everyone has been wondering who the band is and what kind of music they produce. In no time, wild theories had sprouted up about who could possibly be in the band.
Today we finally have that answer. L.S. Dunes includes Tucker Rule (Thursday, Saetia) on drums, Tim Payne (Thursday) on bass, Anthony Green (Circa Survive, Saosin) on vocals, Travis Stever (Coheed and Cambria) on guitar, and finally, Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance, Frank Iero and the Future Violents) on guitar as well.
The band’s song, Permanent Rebellion, is a catchy post-hardcore song that pairs well with Anthony Green’s screaming vocals. The song and the band are a love letter to emo-punk bands of the past while still putting a fresh, interesting, new twist on things. The music video consists of grainy black and white shots of the band performing that flicker into color at random times.
In addition, the band has revealed the title for their album which is Past Lives, and will release on November 11th via Fantasy Records. The tracklist for the album will be:
1. 2022
2. Antibodies
3. Grey Veins
4. Like Forever
5. Blender
6. Past Lives
7. It Takes Time
8. Bombsquad
9. Permanent Rebellion
10. Grifter
11. Sleep Cult
With the band’s first performance slated for Riot Fest in just a few weeks, the excitement grows. When you get together a group of talented people that already have accomplished great successes on their own and in their respective bands, one can only wonder what will happen when that group combines their respective talents and styles.
