Netflix Officially Renews ‘Squid Game’ For Season 2
There has been a lot of talk and teasing about Netflix‘ biggest series Squid Game having a second and maybe even a third season.
But now, it is official! The streaming service has given the green light for season 2 of the Korean drama.
Netflix also shared a letter from creator, writer, director and executive producer Hwang Dong-Hyuk in which he confirms the new chapter and revealed who may be coming back and which new character will join the show.
“Gi-hun returns. The Front Man returns. The man in the suit with ddakji might be back. You’ll also be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su.
It took 12 years to bring the first season of Squid Game to life last year. But if took 12 days for Squid Game to become the most popular series ever.
