MGK Drops Luke ‘Dingo’ Trembath Tribute With Oliver Sykes & More

Machine Gun Kelly (mgk) has released a heartfelt new single, your name forever, honoring his late friend, Australian snowboarder and media personality Luke “Dingo” Trembath, who passed away last month at the age of 38. The rap-rock track features notable contributions from Oliver Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon, M. Shadows and Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold, and Mod Sun, all of whom were close to Trembath.

The accompanying music video, directed by Sam Cahill, intersperses footage from Trembath’s memorial service with a rooftop performance by MGK and his collaborators. The video also showcases a mural painted in Trembath’s honor, reflecting the profound impact he had on his friends and the extreme sports community.

MGK expressed deep sorrow over Trembath’s passing, stating, “I’ve lost a lot of friends, but I’ve never lost a brother.” He described Trembath as “a true rockstar without ever needing to make a song, the most loyal, loud, charismatic, funny, and annoying human I’ve ever had the honor of knowing.”

M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold also paid tribute, sharing on social media, “Dingo meant so much to us and many of our friends. SG and myself jumped on this song to celebrate his life. Shoutout to MGK for turning this around so quickly. Dingo is looking down smiling.”
