Måneskin Drop New Single ‘Honey (Are U Coming?)’ Ahead Of ‘Rush!’ World Tour
Italian rock sensation Måneskin are back with a bang as they unleash their latest single, Honey (Are U Coming?). The highly-anticipated track arrives just in time to set the stage on fire for the band’s colossal Rush! world tour, set to kick off this weekend in Hanover and conclude at Manchester’s AO Arena in mid-December.
Måneskin enthusiasts can also look forward to the band’s scorching live performance of Honey (Are U Coming?) at this month’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), where they are nominated in the Best Rock category for their previous hit, The Loneliest.
The band had tantalizingly teased fans with a mere five-second clip of the track on their social media platforms a few weeks ago. Crafted shortly after their monumental Loud Kids World Tour, and following five unforgettable stadium shows in their native Italy, this new single packs a punch.
Bassist Victoria De Angelis described the creative process: “We wrote the song right after the tour, we still had a lot of energy from the touring and the traveling. We wrote it in between London and LA. We’re really happy with the result, and we think it’s something quite new for us.”
Frontman Damiano David further elaborated on the song’s theme, stating, “It’s the story of someone who has no gender or anything; you decide whoever it is. Find someone else, and they can see in their eyes that there’s some sadness that they feel out of place, and it’s an invitation from one person to another to join them into this new adventure without knowing what they’re actually going to find, but just enjoy the adventure.”
