Last week, after a countdown that started at 100 hours and reached zero with no immediate result, Linkin Park has now made the major announcement they’ve been hinting at. It’s a significant one.
It has been seven years since the band paused following the passing of vocalist Chester Bennington. Since then, Mike Shinoda has been the most active member, releasing solo music. Recently, rumours about Linkin Park’s future have been circulating. Notably, some former LP employees have shared on social media that they’ve left their current positions and rejoined Team Linkin Park, suggesting this announcement is indeed important.
UPDATE: Livestream has kicked off with an impressive light show. The live stream has been given the name: Linkin Park: FROM ZERO (Livestream). They’ve kicked off their set with a brand new single that could be titled The Emptiness Machine. A female vocalist has just surfaced on the stage: Emily Armstrong.
