Des Rocs Teams Up With Underoath For Collaboration ‘In The Night’
Des Rocs has just unveiled an exciting new collaboration with the legendary rock band Underoath on a reimagined track titled In The Night. This fresh version will be featured on the deluxe edition of his upcoming album, Dream Machine: The Lucid Edition, scheduled for release on October 11th via Sumerian Records.
Speaking about the collaboration, Des Rocs shared his enthusiasm for working with Underoath, highlighting their unique musical chemistry: “We do such different things while at the same time drawing on a similar sense of urgency and intensity. It was so exciting to try to achieve the same emotional response through such different means.” Fans can expect a blend of both artists’ signature sounds, merging Des Rocs’ raw energy with Underoath’s powerful presence.
The video for In The Night is directed by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Mark Seliger. Seliger spoke highly of Des Rocs, saying, “The intersection of a rich song and an artist who is also a magnetic performer is rare. Knowing Des for the last couple years gave me a direct connection not only with the power of his storytelling, but the depth of his emotional intelligence.”
