Badflower Release New Single ‘Detroit’ With Nostalgic Vibes
Badflower have shared their latest single, Detroit, a track named after the city where it was created. Written backstage before their 2022 show at The Fillmore, the song features live audio from that night’s audience, and thus made with and for fans.
Released via Big Machine Rock, Detroit arrives with a self-directed music video showcasing archival band footage.
Frontman Josh Katz discusses the song’s contemplative message, reflecting on the journey of achieving long-sought goals and the involvement of fans in those feelings. Katz shares, “Fans are so involved in those feelings. That’s the thing I was chasing for so long, to be loved by a lot of people. And for those people to be involved in this song – it’s just another layer of ‘Badflower’ being honest with you.”
