You Can Visit The Actual Michael Myers House From ‘Halloween’
With today being Halloween, we only thought that this post was appropriate.
You can actually visit the Michael Myers house from the 1978 movie ‘Halloween’.
In the John Carpenter slasher, Michael Myers murders his sister in their home as she babysits him on Halloween night.
Because of the low budget of the movie, real-life houses were used as sets, including the two-storey Victorian property.
However, the house did change locations to avoid demolition.
You can’t go inside, due to the property now being home to the offices of several businesses, but fans are allowed to take photos of the exterior.
On the door, there is often a note reading: "Movie fans. Please do not disturb the tenants. Please stay off the porch and keep to the perimeter (or driveway) of the house for pictures."
