There Was An Alternate Death Scene For Black Widow In ‘Avengers: Endgame’

It’s been almost a year since ‘Avengers: Endgame’ has been released and left us all with mixed feelings.
It turns out that an alternative death scene was filmed for Black Widow. Matthew Schmidt, the editor of the movie, explained that the scene was originally filmed with Black Widow and Hawkeye fighting with Thanos’ army, after which Natasha sacrifices herself for Clint.
When speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Scarlett Johansson explained that the creatures they were fighting off would be too scary for younger views.
However, in the end, the sequence ‘felt too busy’ in the action-filled film, so Jeremy Renner re-shot it as a quieter, emotional piece. This way, the audience would be left with the weight and shock of that loss.
