“Saw” To Get Reboot By Chris Rock
According to MovieWeb, the "Saw" franchise is going to get a reimagined reboot by comedian Chris Rock.
The movie script is going to be written by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg (Jigsaw).
Darren Lynn Bousman, director of Saw 2, 3 and 4, will be returning to direct the reboot.
Chris Rock will be executive producer alongside Daniel Heffner and original Saw creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell.
Rock explained his descision about the reboot:
“I’ve been a fan of ‘Saw’ since the first film in 2004. I am excited by the opportunity to take this to a really intense and twisted new place.”
