Release Date For “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” Sequel Announced
A sequel to the Oscar-winning movie "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" will hit theaters on the 8th of April, 2022.
The original was praised for the innovative animation, for which it was awarded an Oscar. For the sequel, the crew is joining director Joaquim Dos Santos (who worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender) and writer David Callaham (worked on The Expendables).
Back in December, producer Amy Pascal said that the sequel will explore the romance between Miles and Gwen, which didn’t fit into the script of the original Spider-Verse.
