“IT: Chapter Two” To Get Supercut With Completely New Scenes
Apparently, three hours wasn’t long enough yet for "IT: Chapter Two" according to director Andy Muschietti.
He talked to Cinema Blend about a supercut.
“I am thinking of a supercut. Which is basically the two movies told one after the other, adding everything that was lifted from them for length purposes. Great scenes that are more character moments, or things that we had to lift for other reasons. I’m also very excited about shooting extra material.”
He also said that the supercut version would probably be about six and a half hours long.
Now, in a recent interview with Consequence of Sound, where he revealed that reshoots are currently under discussion but are not there yet.
