Ariana Grande, Meryl Streep & More Join Ryan Murphy New Movie Musical
Netflix is making a film version of musical "The Prom" and is letting Ryan Murphy, director of American Horror Story, in charge of that.
The cast of the movie is going to be exclusively famous people.
According to Deadline, the cast so far consists of the following:
Meryl Streep is going to be playing Dee Dee Allen, a self-obsessed Broadway star.
James Corden will be playing Dee Dee’s self-obsessed and very gay Broadway star friend Barry Glickman.
Nicole Kidman will star as another Broadway actor Angie Dickinson and Ariana Grande will be playing Alyssa, a closeted, popular teen girl who’s dating Emma, the teen girl at the center of the show’s plot.
The role of Emma has not yet been fulfilled.
