In 2017, Powerfest made its glorious return. After a few years of inactivity the Amsterdam-based indoor festival was back with some of the biggest names in poppunk and post-hardcore. With headliners Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens, Powerfest 2017 was bound to be epic and nothing could have been more true.

Pierce The Veil are always a treat to see live and tonight was no exception. From moment one onwards the band proves why they are one of the post-hardcore frontrunners. Kicking off their set with ‘Texas Is Forever’, Pierce The Veil had the packed room hanging on to their every word. Pierce The Veil are still touring to promote their latest album ‘Misadventures’ and their enthusiasm was contagious. Throughout the set the crowd got rowdier and louder which reached an all time high when frontman Vic Fuentes stood on top of the barrier to interact with the fans. Powerfest was also the first occasion in a long time for Pierce The Veil to join forces with Kellin Quinn for an extraordinary performance of ‘King For A Day’.
