Photo Review: Stray From The Path @ Patronaat
Stray From The Path took their brutally honest and highly opinionated hardcore to the bar in Patronaat, Haarlem to perform an intimate set in a crowded bar in front of around 130 fanatic fans. Stray From The Path released their latest album back in 2015, after which they released a stand-alone single ‘The House Always Wins’ on election day last year. Their set was filled with tracks taken from their latest record ‘Subliminal Criminals’, aswell as some old fan favourites and of course latest single ‘The House Always Wins’. In between of tracks, the band often spoke about topics that matter to them, such as the election of the United States of America’s new president Trump, aswell as bands who use their platform for monetary reasons, or even sexual assault.
While most bands would stray away from topics like those, the members of hardcore band Stray From The Path don’t stir away from these topics and firmly state their take on the matter, even if they piss off a few people in the process. Their opinions are often found in their tracks aswell, making for an amazing, heavy and once again brutally honest night!
