Lowlands Review: Die Antwoord
This weekend we descended to Lowlands, one of The Netherlands’ biggest music festival. Among huge names such as Disclosure and LCD Soundsystem, this year’s edition had a handful of amazing names for our scene aswell. Enough for us to attend all 3 days and give you a gallery of photos and a quick review per band.
The first festival for us started with alternative electronic rappers from South Africa: after long consideration and a Twitter poll, we’ve decided to cover this artist going forward, starting with a Lowlands review! The electronic duo accompanied by their DJ had the audience in it’s grip from moment one. Dancers, costume changes and spectacular lightning, they truly had everything they needed in their arsenal to put on one hell of a show.
