Ice Nine Kills Release “Scream” Inspired Song

Just in time for Halloween! Ice Nine Kills gave fans all of the spook with their new Scream inspired song “Your Number’s Up”.

The track was released last Friday, and has fans SCREAMING with excitement! The bonus song off of the deluxe version of the band’s album ‘The Silver Scream [FINAL CUT]’ was inspired by Wes Craven’s 1996 classic. “Your Number’s Up” follows the IT inspired music video for their song ‘IT Is The End’ from the band’s horror-inspired album.

The album features many references to horror classics such as Saw, The Crow, The Shining, Halloween, and many more!

The deluxe version of the album comes out October 25, and will feature a DVD which includes a full-length feature film by the band as well as bonus features!

Ice Nine Kills will be hitting the road later this month on the Octane Accelerator Tour with support from Fit For A King, Light The Torch, Make Them Suffer, and Awake At Last!

We The Kings Release New Single

We The Kings have released a brand new song ahead of their Fall tour with Simple Plan and State Champs!

The band has been fairly quiet following their Christmas album released at the end of last year Season’s Greetings From The Sandbar, but surprised fans yesterday teasing, “Breathe in breathe out breathe in… new song tonight at midnight.”

The new song “Turn It UP” is a high energy song that was released at midnight, and has fans ecstatic for new music. The band tweeted, “Bet you didn’t think you’d be hearing new WTK song tonight, did you? TURN IT UP out now on all platforms!” following the release of the song.

“Turn It UP” follows their new song with Simple Plan and State Champs “Where I Belong” and the band’s 2018 album Six.

YouTuber MrBeast Begins Campaign To Plant 20 Million Trees By 2020

YouTubers are in the news again, but not for what you might think.

This isn’t the first time YouTuber MrBeast, Jimmy Donaldson, is in the news. While he’s been praised for his crazy projects like tipping a waitress with real gold bars to dropping $20,000 from a drone this is by far his biggest project yet.

A Reddit user started a petition 155 days ago for Donaldson to plant 20 million trees as a celebration for hitting 20 million subscribers. The petition gained momentum immediately with Donaldson getting spammed all across social media trying to encourage him to make it happen. After months of planning, the huge creator was finally able to put the plan in motion with TeamTrees.

On October 25, MrBeast posted a video explaining his plan to plant 20 million trees by January 1, 2020. Donaldson has teamed up with Mark Rober, an engineer who worked with NASA on the Curiosity rover designed to explore a crater on Mars, and the YouTube community marking the biggest collaboration on YouTube thus far.

How is he making this happen? The creator is reaching out to his community to donate $1, and for every dollar donated a tree will be planted. The team is working with the Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit conservation and education organization that will be managing the planting of the trees. The foundation is the largest nonprofit organization with over one million members.

TeamTrees is trending worldwide with people of all kinds making donations, and has already garnered over a million donations! Donaldson was the first to donate $100,000, and his partner Rober donated a whopping $50,000 totaling up to 150,000 trees!

Famous makeup mogul Jeffree Star tweeted, “This is fucking incredible! I just gave $50,000 to plant 50 thousand trees 💚 Spread the word and help our planet 🙏🏻” Star isn’t the only creator to donate! Popular gaming YouTube LazarBeam, Lannan Eacott, also making a donation for 10,000 trees! #TeamTrees is bringing creators of all kinds together to help save the planet!

Hayley Williams Releases First Solo EP and New Video

The day has come! The highly anticipated solo project from Hayley Williams of Paramore has finally dropped!

Williams has ventured out of Paramore before, but this is the singer’s first truly solo endeavor.
“Petals For Armor I” is a five track EP that is a collection of songs from Williams’ upcoming solo album outside of Paramore.

Along with the new EP fans got a new video for Williams’ third single “Cinnamon”. The single follows “Simmer,” which was fans first introduction to Williams’ solo project, and “Leave it Alone” the second single from the EP.

While fans expected an album, Williams explained that separating the album in collections is “a way to include people on the journey in the same way that I experienced it.” However, the collection is only part one of Petals For Armor.

“There are a lot of themes covered on the album as a whole and I thought it best to separate some of these themes so that there can be time for everyone to digest some of the songs,” Williams stated.
