PHOTO REVIEW: iDKHOW Perform Twice In One Day In New York City

idkhow-live

One concert in one day is cool, but two? Two is a blast! YEP, iDKHOW (Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman) performed twice in one day for New York City! Once in the day, and once at night.

Not only did they have a small show in the day, but it only cost $9.23 and was intimate. So only a few people were able to get in! During both shows, you can tell Dallon and Ryan were happy be there. Ryan was constantly smiling while playing the drums, while Dallon was constantly going into the crowd to show his appreciation for everyone.

The amount of respect the fans have for these two guys amazed us. We love how the band was able to be so close with the crowd at both shows without people getting too crazy. This is how people should be acting at shows. It ends up making things so much more fun in the end!

If you want to see iDKHOW live, they’re currently still on tour! See if there’s a show near you here: https://www.idkhow.com/#tour-dates

LIVE REVIEW: YUNGBLUD Plays A SOLD OUT Show In New York City

yungblud-live-4-1

A black dress, red highlights, T.U.K. Creepers, and pink socks. That’s YUNGBLUD at a SOLD OUT show at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City (5/15/19). Not only is YUNGBLUD extremely talented, he isn’t afraid to be himself. In a world with so much negativity, he’s the positive light that we need in the music industry.

During his shows, the crowd is always filled with so much energy because that’s the vibe that he gives off as he jumps around the stage, giving us tons of big smiles and blowing kisses to everyone. His lyrics can be dark at times, but they’re real. He recently tweeted, "im alone , ur alone , so we’re alone together." He doesn’t sugarcoat anything, and that’s how him and his fans are able to heal. Through his MUSIC. The music is what makes us all feel less alone.

He sang songs such as "I Love You, Will You Marry Me," "Psychotic Kids," "Loner," "Kill Somebody," and more off his album, 21st Century Liability. He even included his single "11 Minutes" ft. Halsey and Travis Barker, along with his unreleased song “Parents Ain’t Always Right." It was the perfect setlist in our opinion.

If you’re at a show for a good time, for good music, and simply for a place to feel accepted, YUNGBLUD’s show is the place to be. If you haven’t listened to his music yet, we highly suggest it. There’s something unique about the way he creates his art that ALWAYS keeps us coming back for more.

PHOTO REVIEW: Twenty One Pilots Take The Bandito Tour To New Jersey

twenty-one-pilots-bandito-new-jersey

On June 5th, Twenty One Pilots (Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun) met and talked to a small group fans at an exclusive Q&A hosted by Z100 and then played to thousands at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Tyler’s grandparents even made it to both of the events!

As always, these two guys did not fail to make us feel at home. No matter where you sat, Twenty One Pilots found a way to make the whole room come to life with all their lights, effects, confetti, and creative visuals on the screen. If you went to one of their shows, do you agree? Let us know on social media!

Waterparks Release Music Video for “EASY TO HATE”

waterparks-2019

Waterparks (Awsten Knight, Geoff Wigington, and Otto Wood) released their third full-length album, FANDOM, via Hopeless Records last Friday! But the fun isn’t over. The band just released a music video for the track, "EASY TO HATE," off of the album.

The music video is basically any Waterparks fans dream because the band is stuck in someone’s house throughout the whole video. Although the person doesn’t seem to be too excited over the band being there.. LOL. No matter where the person goes, all three members of Waterparks are there to greet him.

Produced by Zakk Cervini (Poppy, Yungblud), FANDOM is lyrically genius in our opinion, with lyrics like, "You were yellow / But the lights were red / We both know you’d never stop / Until we both fell dead."

Speaking to the themes of the album, Awsten shares, "We talked about music culture and fandom culture, how those things affect me, where I am mentally, and even a little bit about those relationships. A lot of the stuff that is more ‘heartbreak’ centered is coming from a more confident place than a self-pitying view. That’s why this is my favourite stuff we’ve done."

And we totally agree! This is the perfect album to just jam out to whether you’re going through a heartbreak OR if you’re just upset at someone who did you wrong.

"I hope audiences experience the record with open minds," says Awsten. "It would be easy to repeat ourselves. The older albums are a part of who we are. I want listeners to accept growth and the honest expression of where we’re at now. This is Waterparks."

You can stream or purchase the FANDOM here

Waterparks will be hitting the road on THE FANDOM TOUR presented by The Noise. They will be supported by Yung Pinch and Kitten on the U.S. leg of the tour.
