Pierce The Veil Release Highly Anticipated New Album ‘The Jaws Of Life’

Pierce the Veil are back with a new album, starring Vic Fuentes, Tony Perry, and Jaime Preciado. Their fifth album The Jaws of Life is a powerhouse of an album. With heavy vocals and beautiful melodies, this album is a welcome back for long time fans of the band. I also recommend it for anyone who hasn’t checked out Piece the Veil. I was never a big fan of their music, only knowing the song ‘King For a Day’.

But this album is a masterpiece. Every song has its own vibe to it. The emotions are brought out through Vic’s vocals and I found myself being whisked away into the story he tells through the lyrics.

Pass the Nirvana was a really good song that almost felt like a throwback to rock/grunge. It had heavy vocals and a different tone from the rest of the album. But it fit in very well.

Emergency Contact had me feeling a little down once I took notice of the lyrics. I feel from this song on, the theme was really brought out. Talking about heartbreak, trust, love, trauma, and depression.

Flawless Execution brings out the feelings of not belonging, and almost feeling like a freak or parasite to others. Wanting to shut yourself away from those you love just to save them.

The Jaws of Life talks about fighting with oneself. It mentioned pointing a gun at the mirror, reflecting on inner demons.

Shared Trauma was a really beautiful, melodic song for the dark theme it brought out. It brings up how you may share trauma with someone, and yet unfortunately it never goes away. Past trauma only goes away when new trauma arises.

I just really love how this album came together. Every song was worth the listen. They all flowed together. The vocals were beautiful, and the guitar work was excellent. The Jaws of Life released today. I highly recommend checking it out, even if you’re not a fan of Piece the Veil. It’s a good listen that is definitely worth your time.

ALBUM REVIEW: Sleeping With Sirens – ‘Complete Collapse’

On October 14, 2022, Sleeping with Sirens released their newest album Complete Collapse. This has been their first album release since 2019.

I think this album is definitely a nice welcoming return for people of the band. We’ve seen a lot of great returns for bands this year, and it’s nice to see Sleeping with Sirens among them.

The album definitely has some really nice hits. The single Crosses is one that I could see people screaming along to at a live show. When talking about the album, Kellin Quinn described what Crosses is about.

“The song, to me, is about not putting yourself above anyone else. In a world where everyone [pretends to be perfect. I think this song is letting everyone know that we all struggle and we can all rise above it!”

I really believe this album brings a great message that we all needed. The lyrics of each song are packed with so much emotion. Complete Collapse is definitely worth a listen, and I think everyone will find a song on this album that they relate to.

ALBUM REVIEW: Nothing More – ‘Spirits’

Three-time Grammy nominees, and Texas born quartet are back with their seventh album Spirits, which releases October 14th. It features massive rock anthems. The song Tired of Winning is currently in the Top 10 of BillBoard’s Top 20 Active Rock list.

This album documents the turmoil that the world experienced these past two years during lockdown. It captures the desperation and isolation, along with substance abuse, broken relationships, and survival. The overall story of Spirits is to Reflect, Provoke, and Inspire.

The two songs that really stood out to me were Turn It Up Like, and You Don’t Know What Love Means. Both are heavy in not only the music but also in the lyrics as well. The stories of lost friends and broken relationships are brought out in very powerful emotion.

Spirits reflects on not only the bad, but also on the good. Through all the pain experienced, there is also healing. It inspires listeners that although it may seem like the end of the world, we can still pull through. This album is a rollercoaster of emotion, but Nothing More has brought us a hit with these hard, heavy, and powerful songs.

Lamb Of God Announce New Album & Tour

Lamb Of God have announced their new album Omens along with a massive tour this fall. It is very exciting to hear all the news released in regards to this album. The album itself comes out on October 7th.

Tomorrow they will release the single Nevermore, and alongside that, you will also have access to pre-sale tickets for their upcoming tour. It is very huge, with some amazing guests. You won’t want to miss it.

They hit the road in September, and their lineup depends on certain dates, so make sure to check those out. But their guest for the tour is Killswitch Engage and their openers are Baroness, Motionless in White, Spirit Box, Animals as Leaders, Suicide Silence and Fit For An Autopsy.

I am very excited for the single being released tomorrow and even more excited about the album itself. In an interview talking about the album, Randy Blythe states that, “Omens is a reaction to the state of the world. It’s a very pissed off record. It is an extremely pissed off record.”

Bullet For My Valentine Release New Single & Announce 2023 Tour

Bullet For My Valentine have released a new single called Stitches.

Originally only released in Japan, it is now available for everyone to go and check out.

The single is part of a deluxe edition of their self titled album from 2021, and is set to release on August 5th.

This deluxe edition features five new tracks, along with Stitches.

They also have announced an upcoming tour in the UK for 2023. The tour will start in Cambridge on February 27th, and go until March 11th in London.

The tour dates and venues have been announced and are listed down below.

So if you are in the area, definitely go and check them out.

Watch Måneskin Perform On The Tonight Show With Jimmy fallon

On Friday, May 19th, the band Måneskin were set to perform their new single Supermodel on the Tonight Show. Unfortunately that morning, their bassist Vic had fallen ill. Not wanting to cancel, they asked the host Jimmy Fallon to play bass in her place.

Dawned in a wig and some makeup, Jimmy looked the part and also played the part well. He was able to keep up on bass while Måneskin rocked their new single.

Their new single Supermodel was released on May 13th, just one day before the Eurovision Song Contest of 2022, and they were also able to perform it live during the contest.

If you would like to see Måneskin live, they are going on tour across Europe later this year and will go on until the beginning of 2023.

In the meantime you can check out their single, Supermodel, anywhere you get your music. Really hoping to see more music from them as well and maybe even a new album. We will keep you guys updated on more things Måneskin!
