ROCK AM RING REVIEW: Black Veil Brides Kick-Off Day 3
Black Veil Brides are back in Europe! Their last big tour across Europe was their massive co-headliner tour with Asking Alexandria back in early 2018. Now, they are back to rock the main stage on a drizzling Sunday afternoon. When the band started their set, it wasn’t all too crowded just yet, but halfway through their set, the masses came out to watch the band perform!
With a very mixed setlist, consisting of 1-2 songs from each and every album the band have ever released, there was something to enjoy for everyone. Personally, I was sad only 1 song was played from Wretched and Divine, with that one song obviously being In The End.
While the show was pretty straight forward, enough fans in the audience were happy enough to see the band’s return in Europe. Check out photos from their glorious return to Germany in the gallery below.
ROCK AM RING REVIEW: SKYND Expand Fanbase During Insane Show
We saw SKYND earlier this week in an intimate setting in Amsterdam in a room surrounded by nothing but SKYND fans. Today was very different. SKYND played in front of a huge crowd, and while a lot of the front-rowers were singing along, we are very certain today was the introduction to SKYND for a lot of the people in the audience. We suspect the band made some new fans today with their true crime music and creepy exterior.

ROCK AM RING REVIEW: Photos From A Day To Remember’s Epic Set
Seeing A Day To Remember is always a treat. The band never fail to amaze and their massive show at Rock Am Ring was no exception. Coming out with confetti, energy and charisma, A Day To Remember totally delivered – and then some.
Eva van den Bosch was there to capture the set through photos, which you can check out right below.
ROCK AM RING REVIEW: Don Broco Play First German Show Since 2019
Finally played their last show in Germany in 2019, Don Broco came back to celebrate their 2021 album Amazing Things and of course whatever else is coming, as they recently released a brand new single and some arena shows in the U.K for next year. We witnessed their performance at Rock Am Ring and you can check out photos from their show below!
ROCK AM RING REVIEW: FEVER 333 Bring Familiar Carnage
FEVER 333 are back at Rock Am Ring! In the last edition of the festival, which was held back in 2019 (we all know what happened after that year), FEVER 333 are back again for yet another mind-boggling show. The show was more or less the same as it was in 2019, but honestly, it was no bother. When a show is this crazy and this energetic, there’s not a lot you can do it improve, except for perhaps visual effects like pyro, confetti and steam cannons.
Since the first song was released back in 2018, FEVER 333 have been in the spotlight, especially when it comes to live shows. The number of photographers coming to capture their set is always unprecedented high for the stage they’re on.
Now with 3 albums released, FEVER 333 could easily fill an hour with songs, which they did, with a slight preference going towards their 2019 album STRENGTH IN NUMB333RS. We witnessed the greatness unfold and you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of what we witnessed in the gallery below. Photos by Eva van den Bosch.
ROCK AM RING REVIEW: Ice Nine Kills Bring Their Horror-Metalcore To Germany
We have been counting down the days to see Ice Nine Kills live again. The last time we saw the band, they played an intimate show in Amsterdam after the release of their 2018 album The Silver Scream, which put the band on the map. The songs from The Silver Scream are all inspired by horror movies, and it got the band riding on a wave so big, that they have decided to make a second album following this trend: The Silver Scream: Welcome To Horrorwood.
Another body of work with horror movies meant more props, masks, and gimmicks to work with on a live show and that is exactly what they came to do in Europe. Starting their set with album opener Welcome To Horrorwood, straight into Wurst Vacation, from the second album, as well.
Just as suspected, and hoped might I add, Ice Nine Kills brought their all. Regular wardrobe changes, weapon switches (which is a totally normal thing to have during a concert), and an actor and actress playing out stuff sung about in the music. Besides a lot of new stuff, the fan favorites from The Silver Scream couldn’t stay out. Amongst the songs were The American Nightmare, Thank God It’s Friday, and Stabbing In The Dark.
Now, bear with us for the lengthy photo review. Truth be told, we are huge Ice Nine Kills fans ourselves and had a hard time making even this selection. Photos by Eva van den Bosch.
