Paramore Give ‘All I Wanted’ Its Live Debut At When We Were Young Festival
After the very unfortunately cancelled edition of the festival on saturday due to dangerous weather, the sunday edition of the brand new festival When We Were YoungFestival was packed with epic performances and legendary collaborations.
Amongst the epic performances was the show of Paramore, who have recently joined the touring circuit again after releasing their brand new single This Is Why, with more shows and an album on its way.
During their set at When We Were Young Festival, Paramore played their track All I Wanted live for the very first time, can you believe that?
Luckily for all of us who were not attending this incredible festival in Las Vegas, we got some great footage from the performance which you can check out right below.
The Real ‘The Watcher’ Family Sold Their Story And Requested These 2 Changes
If you’re an avid Netflix watcher, chances are you have seen the new The Watcher series on your screen, whether you have watched the whole thing yet or just seen it in your ‘now trending’ box on the popular streaming service.
Netflix won the rights to the Brannock family story back in 2018 in a bidding war amonst interested parties, for how much has not been disclosed, but with the series’ current success, one can argue the high costs for the story was worth it.
When the story sold, the family in question requested two changes to be made from the real story. The first change being the family name. The real ‘The Watcher’ name is not Brannock and even the first names Nora and Dean are not factually true. In addition to this change, the family also requested the composition of the family to not be the same. In reality, the family has three kids rather than 2.
The letters that the family Brannock receives from the Watcher stalker character are however the same as the letters that the real Brannock family received. Haunting.
Have you seen The Watcher yet? If not, check out the trailer below and let us know if you plan on watching it!
CONCERT REVIEW: Five Finger Death Punch Bring The Pyro To Rotterdam
It has been a while since we saw Five Finger Death Punch live, but as they say: distance makes the heart grow fonder. In our experience, a FFDP show is always eventful. We’ve had a bit of a turbulent past with the band. We were at the infamous Tilburg show for example where the band walked off halfway through the set, after we interviewed the drummer who’s now off doing different things in life. It would suffice to say that now, Five Finger Death Punch are stronger than ever. With a brand new album on its way, the band are playing arenas and huge festivals all across Europe, and luckily they brought their pyro-filled set to the brand new RTM stage in Rotterdam as well.
For tonight’s show, Five Finger Death Punch brought along the iconic Megadeth, fronted by just as iconic Dave Mustaine, who played an extensive set of an hour for a support act, which made all the sense in the world. Many fans in the audience were reppin’ Megadeth merch, so there were definitely a couple of people in the audience who came out tonight to see Megadeth perform, and lucky for them, their set lasted a full hour. Relying more on their instruments rather than vocals, Megadeth came to deliver a thrash-metal masterclass, showing why they’re part of the ‘big 4’ of the Thrash Metal genre together with Anthrax, Slayer and Metallica. Even with the extensive support slot, an hour wasn’t enough. Please come back soon with a headline show.
Kicking off proceedings with the 2020 single Inside Out, Five Finger Death Punch set the tone for the rest of the evening. The exceedingly huge amounts of pyro started during the first song and wouldn’t die down until the very end and the band members were clearly having a great time up on that stage. 3 songs in, frontman Ivan Moody went for his first costume change, something he would end up doing a couple of times throughout the set to switch things up. FFDP didn’t particularly rush through their sets, but instead made a lot of small talk with the audience in-between songs, often times being really funny while doing so.
The setlist was a very nice mixture of old and new, but the new singles were suspiciously absent. We were very excited to hear the band’s most recent single Welcome To The Circus, and according to Setlist.fm, this song has been played a few times over the last couple of weeks at festival and arena shows, but unfortunately: we came up short. Luckily, the discography of FFDP is extensive enough to have something on there for everyone. All the way from The Way Of The Fist, with the fan-favourite The Bleeding up until the 2020 album F8, which features the unmissable A Little Bit Off and the aforementioned Inside Out. Of course, the very popular cover Bad Company could not be left out on this fine night, either. Five Finger Death Punch had something fun planned for almost every song, from pyro to confetti, an outfit swap or inviting fans up on stage. We aren’t quite sure whether this was fun and games but frontman Ivan Moody shared with the fans that he broke his finger on stage tonight, but I’m sure the coming days will tell.
It feels like bands are just coming back stronger than ever after a very frustrating COVID period of 2 years. Just like A Day To Remember absolutely blew our minds not even a week ago, Five Finger Death Punch did the exact same tonight. Perhaps we are just ecstatic to be at shows again, or perhaps bands are just very happy they’re able to play shows again. Maybe a little bit of both? Anyway, everything fell into place tonight and we cannot wait for the band to come back to play some of their new songs from the upcoming album AfterLife, which will release on the 19th of August via Better Noise Music.

PHOTO REVIEW: Enter Shikari Cause Mayhem In Amsterdam’s Melkweg
It’s been a hot minute since we last saw Enter Shikari in The Netherlands, with the last time being Jera On Air 2019, on which they were one of the headliners. Armed with a new record, the Dutch fans were eager to hear the new songs from Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible live for the first time, as well as a beautiful mix of older songs.
Besides the many new songs, the setlist consisted of older favourites such as Juggernauts, Mothership and of course Sorry You’re Not A Winner. The nice mix of musical styles featured in Enter Shikari music made for a unique decor, with lots of lightning, as well as lasers filling the room during some more electronic-driven songs and remixes.
It truly was a night to remember and you can catch a glimpse of what went down in Amsterdam’s Melkweg in the gallery below.

CONCERT REVIEW: My Chemical Romance Close Out European Tour In Style
Last night was bittersweet. We witnessed greatness again, but unfortunately, it was the last night of greatness for the European fans. My Chemical Romance closed out a very succesful run through Europe with a great set in Bonn. We were very fortunate to have been able to witness a second show on this incredible tour.
After an in-door show in Rotterdam, it was a nice change of pace to witness the band perform on a stage in a beautiful park in the hot summer sun.
With a setlist that many in the fandom have deemed to be the best one yet, we were in for a treat. Tonight we got 2 songs from Bullet, with Our Lady of Sorrows only being played a handful of times on this tour, we got a Black Parade B-side: Heaven Help Us, and of course a lot of songs from Danger Days, The Black Parade and Three Cheers.
Heart-wrenching and beautiful at the same time, My Chemical Romance closed out their set with Cancer, with the very last lyric being sung to the European fans being: ‘Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you’.
Re-live the concert with us through the extensive gallery of the show right below and let us know if you have seen MCR live yet and where, or if you have tickets for any of the upcoming US tour or festival dates!
