Twenty One Pilots Set To Secure First Official Number One Album With ‘Clancy’
The Official Charts have announced the midweek standings for the UK, and twenty one pilots are on track to claim the top spot for the first time in their career!
The duo’s latest album, Clancy, is in a tight race with Paul Weller’s 17th solo album, 66. Currently, Clancy holds the Number One position, while 66 is at Number Two.
It’s remarkable to think that despite their huge popularity, twenty one pilots have never secured a Number One album in the UK before. Their 2018 release Trench reached Number Two, 2021’s Scaled And Icy hit Number Three, and even their massively successful 2015 album Blurryface only peaked at Number Five.
In other chart news, Bring Me The Horizon’s POST HUMAN: NeX Gen is performing strongly as well, currently sitting at Number Five after its surprise release last Friday.
