Twenty One Pilots Frontman Tyler Joseph Discusses ‘Scaled And Icy’ In New Interview
It’s been a turbulent few days, but with the new song ‘Shy Away’ released earlier today, and the upcoming album confirmed to release on the 21st of May, Twenty One Pilots fans are having a great day.
After the release of the brand new single ‘Shy Away’, the band’s frontman Tyler Joseph sat down for an interview on BBC Radio 1 from which we have learned the following about the upcoming album:
The song ‘Shy Away’ started out when Tyler’s younger brother asked him about his process when writing a song. Josh Dun recorded the drums on his own, due to the pandemic.
In addition, Tyler shares that Josh Dun is moving back to Columbus, Ohio to be closer to family and friends.
The liveshow that wil take place on the 21st of May is something they have worked on for 6-7 months!
"This record is more colourful, literally and sonically.", Tyler shares.
At the beginning of the song, you hear a baby, which is cause Rosie was an inspiration for the song as well as the album.
As soon as it is safe again, Twenty One Pilots will be hitting the road ASAP.
