The 1975 Give Update On Highly Anticipated New Record “Music For Cars”
In a new interview with NME, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy gave an update regarding the highly anticipated new record “Music For Cars”. The frontman chatted with NME in a joint feature with Pale Waves. Besides discussing the newcomers Pale Waves, Healy also discussed several aspects regarding the new The 1975 record. Here’s what he shared:
Perhaps we’ll be hearing some new material from the band sooner than later!
“It’s always kind of been my story. It spanned adolescene to maturity, success and trying to mediate the two, and the third one is where we are now”.
“There’s an insane amount of ideas on the table, but that’s just kind of how we work”.
“My creative pursuit doesn’t elicit much happiness because a lot of the time it’s about the darker side of me. That’s the way it should be, if you’re really challenging yourself. But yeah, it’s f*cking torture”.
The band shared back in July that they re-entered the studio for the recording of the record.Perhaps we’ll be hearing some new material from the band sooner than later!
