Gerard Way Joins Cast for Dungeons & Dragons Pinball Game
My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way has joined the voice cast of the upcoming pinball machine Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye. This new game, developed by Stern Pinball in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast, aims to bring the immersive world of Dungeons & Dragons to the pinball arena.
“The Tyrant’s Eye” features an animatronic red dragon named Rath the Relentless, voiced by Michael Dorn, known for his role in Star Trek: The Next Generation. The game also includes a dungeon, a story-driven campaign, and encounters with 45 classic D&D monsters. Players assume the roles of Dragonshield Guild members on a quest to thwart the dragon queen Tiamat’s resurgence.
The voice cast boasts notable figures such as Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, and Marisha Ray from Critical Role, musicians Brendon Small and Gerard Way, game designer Luke Gygax, and filmmakers Kevin Smith and Chris Prynoski. Composer Chris Velasco, known for his work on Bloodborne and Mass Effect 2, provides the game’s music, while artist Vincent Proce contributes the artwork. Veteran pinball designer Brian Eddy leads the table’s design.
Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye will be available in three editions: Pro ($6,999), Premium ($9,699), and Limited Edition ($12,999). For a detailed overview, Stern Pinball has released a walkthrough video showcasing the game’s features.
