Green Day Release Emotional New Single ‘Dilemma’ Tackling Addiction And Mental Health

Green Day have unveiled a deeply personal single, Dilemma, the latest from their upcoming 14th album, Saviors, set for release on January 19th, 2024. The track, following 2023 hits The American Dream Is Killing Me and Look Ma, No Brains!, explores the pain of addiction and mental illness.

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong shared insights, stating, “Dilemma was easy to write; it’s personal. We’ve seen peers struggle. This song is about that pain.” In a Kerrang! interview, he discussed the song’s core themes, calling it one of his favourites off of Saviors and shedding light on its nuanced approach to addiction and mental health.
